08/31/10 - Pre-Release 5F
The following issues have been addressed in Pre-Release 5F:

08/23/10 - Pre-Release 5E
The following issues have been addressed in Pre-Release 5E:
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue that prevented new strategies from being created with the Save As button.
- Corrected an error with OmniPilot using the SymbolObject function.
- Fixed a problem with some stop market orders in the Portfolio causing an error on startup.
- Under Tools/Options, the "Require Broker Stop when using Integrated Brokerage" was still allowing trades to be processed. This is corrected.
- Fixed an error received from plotting certain systems from Volume Systems 2.
- Open options positions now update in realtime correctly in Portfolio.
- Fixed an issue in Lab Mode where short positions would reopen after they were closed.
- While editing a trade plan block within a strategy, switching to the short side & back to the long side would disable all the parameters. This is fixed.
08/03/10 - Pre-Release 5C

Bug Fixes:
- Corrected an issue with OmniData Realtime where some symbols would stop streaming when left running overnight.
- No longer get an error adding a broker under Broker Settings if not registered for Integrated Brokerage.
- Fixed an issue with Market on Close strategies showing pending signals in the signal column instead of solid triangles
- Corrected a problem with stops not plotting on realtime charts on current trades using trade plan strategies.
- Selecting the option to not ask anymore is corrected in the form that prompts an install of OmniData.
- Fixed an issue with Stop Limit orders in Trade Plan blocks changing to Limit orders.
- (OptionTrader) The Close All Positions button under Portfolio will now correctly close option trades.
- (OptionTrader) Fixed an issue with the Current Positions list & POS column not displaying open positions on options.
- (Strategy Wizard) Setting the output to Performance Report still ran it on Portfolio Simulation. This is fixed.
- (Strategy Maker) Fixed an issue that would return zero results when the base strategy had multiple filter blocks.
- (OmniPilot) Corrected an issue with N-Day & Monthly timeframes not being recognized within OmniPilot.
- (Nirvana Club) Corrected an issue with NN methods showing 0 in the Trade Calculator.
- (Nirvana Club) Fixed a memory issue using NN strategies when closing OmniTrader.
Enhancements:
- Added support for Volume Systems 2.
- Added the ability to hide the Volume pane in charts. This option is under the chart tab in the Chart Options menu.
- The Entry Date field in the Voteline Advisor window on Market on Close Trade Plan strategies displays the date the signal began rather than the date of the next bar.
07/19/10 - Pre-Release 5B
The following issues have been addressed in Pre-Release 5B:
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue sending trades to Elite Broker while connected to IB.
- (Strategy Wizard) Clicking "Open Folder" opens to the Strategy Wizard folder.
- (Strategy Wizard) Fixed an issue with parameters reverting back to defaults after clicking Run.
- (Strategy Wizard) Fixed a case where output results were lost after loading a configuration file & restarting Strategy Maker.
- (OptionTrader) Corrected a problem with custom profit curve colors not being saved on restart.
07/15/10 - Pre-Release 5A
The following issues have been addressed in Pre-Release 5A:
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue that prevented closing of positions that were manually opened in MB Trading.
- Corrected a transmission issue with Elite Trader & MB Trading.
- Enabling the Next Pivot Point Performance Metric in the Systems block sets the block to optimized/red border regardless of other settings.
- NSP strategies no longer error if the particular NSP database is not installed.
- (Nirvana Club) Fixed an issue training a Consensus block within Trade Plan Strategies.
Enhancements:
- Focus List indicator columns now allow the user to select upper or lower for indicators that have both.
- Attempting to edit an NSP block will display a message to install the plugin if the database is not installed.
07/08/10 - Release 4
The following issues have been addressed in Release 4:
Enhancements:
- Added support for Strategy Wizard 2.
- When displaying the contents of a Strategy (Strategy Builder), any block that has a form of optimization or is using a Pivot Point exit is now outlined with red bars.
06/30/10 - Pre-Release 3X
The following issues have been addressed in Pre-Release 3X:
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue in Realtime where the hard right edge would stop updating active charts while returning from the Configure Columns (wrench) or Edit Focus List (Pencil) windows.
- Corrected a problem with Trade Plan limit orders using a percent below close of prior bar.
- The automatic contract rollover option no longer causes an error when contracts are rolled over.
- Fixed an issue that prevented Mutual Funds from being traded.
- Fixed an issue that caused startup errors if manual positions were added for an existing open position.
- (OptionTrader) The blue OPT chevron no longer moves with price after being submitted.
Enhancements:
- Added support for Elite Broker.
- (OptionTrader) Under the Position column, Option Finder now displays the number of shares/contracts for every trade.
06/16/10 - Pre-Release 3W
The following issues have been addressed in Pre-Release 3W:
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue with drawing tools when dragging them off the right edge of the chart.
- Corrected a problem with the Money Zone indicators extending to 0 when using intraday futures.
- The values WorstDraw Down Short Value, Max Unrealized Gain (%), & Trading Efficiency (%) have been removed from the Performance Detail report.
- Fixed an issue with the arrow drawing tool when drawn vertically.
- Fixed an error caused by creating new custom exchanges.
- In Game Mode, the symbol can no longer be seen in the Trade Plan Setup, Order Editor, & Option Finder forms.
- Corrected a problem with the Position column & Current Positions list showing blank after restarting the Profile. Positions entered prior to Pre-Release 3T will not show in these 2 areas.
- Fixed a case when exits & new signals occured on the same bar the signal column was not displaying the exit.
- Right-clicking a chevron & removing trade plan now works correctly & changes the chevron to a P.
- (OptionTrader) Changed the header title in Option Finder from Option Strategy to Option Method.
Enhancements:
- Added support for NSP-41.
- Updated exchange times for all futures exchanges.
- Updated symbols database.
- Added Singapore database translation with eSignal. Extension -SES now used for all stocks & indexes.
- (OptionTrader) Added the ability to add an option to the Focus List within the option chain form. Right-click the Focus List & view option chains, then right-click any option to select it.
- (OptionTrader) The option chains button is disabled in the order editor if an options trade plan is not selected.
06/09/10 - Pre-Release 3V
The following issues have been addressed in Pre-Release 3V:

- Fixed an issue with IB not recognizing transmitted orders correctly.
- Fixed an order validation issue trading Forex symbols.
- Corrected a problem where a new signal would display as a pending signal in the SIG column using orders block strategies.

06/03/10 - Pre-Release 3T
The following issues have been addressed in Pre-Release 3T:
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an error on startup when using non-US databases.
- Fixed an error when trying to place a historical order in the Portfolio.
- Corrected an error occurring after placing a second trade on a symbol after the first failed to submit as a result of a verification check.
- Fixed an error in Auto Mode if you had the option checked to Run Portfolio Simulation.
- Fixed an error in Auto Mode when updating OmniData.
- Fixed an issue with the Position column & the Current Positions list not showing any open positions.
- In Lab Mode, Open P/L is now updated in the Open Positions tab under the Trade Plan Setup window.
- Triggered alerts are no longer removed from the list after restarting.
- Added a correction to the Test profile to use the Realtime Data Periods form instead of the EOD one.
- Fixed startup errors caused from invalid trades in Portfolio. TradePlan Mismatch notification with a description is now displayed for each symbol with a problem.
- GroupTrader: Creating a custom group from Group/ETF constituents creates the new group with the correct component symbols.
- OptionTrader: Option Finder no longer errors if used without data installed.
- OptionTrader: Fixed an error when using a Fulcrum block with an options Trade Plan.
- OptionTrader: Advancing to the next bar in Lab Mode no longer advances profit curves.
Enhancements:
- Added a Delete Order button in the Trade Plan Setup interface. This can be used to delete additional orders that have been added.
- GroupTrader: The last tab (Groups/ETFs) accessed is now saved under under Settings.
- OptionTrader: Added progress bar when Option Finder is calculating.
- OptionTrader: Trades from Option Finder now display Bullish or Bearish correctly in the Trade Plan Setup window.
- OptionTrader: Profit curves now have commissions applied from Option Finder.
5/27/10 - Pre-Release 3S
The following issues have been addressed in Pre-Release 3S:
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed entry signals being displayed on voteline twice on orders block strategies.
- When a pending signal & an exit occur on the same current bar, the SIG column now shows the pending signal rather than the exit.
- The Trade Plan Setup window now goes to the Taskbar, so it can be recovered after minimized.
- The scroll wheel no longer uses the Zoom feature on the charts if other forms have focus.
- Fixed an issue with the Trade Plan Setup & Trade Calculator windows not showing the entire form when DPI was set to 120.
- Fixed an issue where Setups were blank when multiple strategies produce a current signal & the option to "Use default setup when
no signal is present was disabled. The Setup used in these cases will now use the default Setup. - Corrected an error that would occur running Strategy Wizard on a strategy with current+1 set in a Filter or Confirm block.
Enhancements:
- OptionTrader support implemented.
- Improved Trade Plan Editor & Trade Plan Setup interface. As a result, all OT2010 trade plans will be permanently converted to use the new interface & will no longer work in older versions of OT like Release 1. Click here to view a short video regarding these Trade Plan interface changes.
- Added Position field in the Trade Plan Setup to show the amount of shares to be traded. For options, this field will show the contract amount, direction, strike price, & expiration.
- Added a selection in the Trade Plan Editor to "Use enabled stop as a broker stop." When a stop condition is selected this option can be used to automatically convert the stop to a broker stop.
- Added a Defaults button in the Trade Plan Editor to default all stop parameters of the selected condition to their default values. They are the values used when creating a new condition rather than the parameter values from the individual Trade Plans.
- Added the ability to add additional shares to an existing order through the Trade Plan Setup window.
- Chart margin shift & dragging chart now available in Lab Mode & Game Mode.
- Trades can no longer be placed on indexes or groups.
- Increased size to the View/Toolbars form so all toolbars can be accessed.

4/19/10 - Pre-Release 3L
The following issues have been addressed in Pre-Release 3L:
Fixes:
- Fixed an error that occurred when initializing TC2000 lists.
- Corrected an error encountered when using non-US databases.
- (GroupTrader) Corrected an error received by attempting to sort the Gsig or GC columns in the Group section of the Focus List.
- (GroupTrader) Fixed the ETF chart behavior for the Template, Period, Symbol, & Sync options so they remain when GT is active.
Enhancements:
- (GroupTrader) The GSIG column will now display the signals for the Group/ETF constituents instead of showing blank in the bottom section of the Focus List.
4/7/10 - Pre-Release 3K
The following issues have been addressed in Pre-Release 3K:
Fixes:
- Fixed an element not found error occurring during the subscription download.
- Fixed an issue with Continuous Contracts not getting historical data before Dec. 2008.
- Fixed a case where placing a trade directly through MB Trading would not allow the ability to apply a trade plan in OT.
- (GroupTrader) Corrected an error received by clicking the Settings button when using specific selected sorts.
- (GroupTrader) Gsig & GC% now calculate correctly when used in Lab Mode.
- Updated futures database for IQ Feed symbol conversion.
3/31/10 - Pre-Release 3J
The following issues have been addressed in Pre-Release 3J:
Fixes:
- Fixed an issue that prevented ETF's & Custom groups from not automatically showing correlation values on members
Enhancements:
- Added support for GroupTrader 3.
- New window added on startup will now ask to install OmniData if it's not installed already. If selected it will download & install it automatically. Users may choose to not have this appear on startup at the bottom of the window.
- (GroupTrader) Charting ETF symbols & custom groups now have analysis ran on their constituents, if they exist.
- (GroupTrader) With subscription can now view ETF constituents while using eSignal or IQ Feed.
- (GroupTrader) Weighted voting option added. Weighted Voting uses a proprietary algorithm to give more influence to higher weighted stocks to determine Group Signal voting.
- (GroupTrader) Enable Fast Plotting (no vote line on charts) option renamed to Enable Fast Plotting (No voting on members). This option is no longer enabled by default.

1/12/10 - Pre-Release 3C
The following issues have been addressed in Pre-Release 3C:
Bug Fixes:
- Setups now display properly in Lab Mode.
- Corrected an issue that caused Profile titles to lose uppercase letters after modifying data periods.
- The numbers on the Reward/Risk tool when the chart background is black are now visible.
Enhancements:
- Option added under Tools/Options/General to let user choose what Profile to open. If left unchecked OT works as normal & opens the last Profile used. If checked OT will ask the user what Profile to open on startup.
- Lab Mode implemented for Realtime Profiles.
- The current timeframe selected when entering Lab Mode is now identified as the Initial Timeframe. You may switch to other time frames while in Lab Mode, but the advancing of data is disabled while viewing data periods other than the Initial Timeframe.
- Option added under Tools/Options/Lab Mode to allow completed bars (future data) to be visible in other time frames. While in Lab Mode, this option handles how the current bar is displayed when viewing other data periods that aren't the Initial Timeframe. With the option unchecked (the default selection), higher time frame bars will not be displayed in charts until the Initial Timeframe has caught up to completed bar of the higher time frame. With the option enabled you are able to view higher time frame completed bars.

- Corrected a problem with the Trade Calculator was showing zeroes for trade size methods when connected to a live broker.

12/01/09 - Release 2
The following issues have been addressed in Release 2:
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed error occurring when importing symbols from a futures Profile to another futures Profile.
- Corrected an issue where setting a support or trendline as an alert would never fire the alert.
- Corrected a problem where the Fixed Risk method was not showing on the Portfolio Simulation Report.
- Fixed an error that occurred after disabling an indicator after plot stops on chart was disabled.
- Errors no longer show when having manual trades in IB for symbols that are not in our database.
- Fixed the Reward:Risk drawing tool so that you may now click anywhere on the tool to select it in the chart.
Enhancements:
- For the Reward:Risk tool, added the ability to click & drag the ratio line to adjust the ratio.
- For the Reward:Risk tool, added the ability to click & drag the end point of the middle line to extend it to more bars.
- For the Reward:Risk tool, Properties will now update for ratio/extended bars if these are adjusted on the chart.
- (Nirvana Club) Improved Elite Trader communication\throughput.
11/24/09 - Pre-Release 2C
The following issues have been addressed in Pre-Release 2C:
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue when the closing a Focus List while being maximized on a different monitor.
- Fixed an issue with the Sector, Group, & SubGroup chart setting not being saved upon restart.
- (Nirvana Club) Corrected a problem where the Trade Plan from a strategy would not be used if an NN block existed following the Trade Plan block.
Enhancements:
- "Save As" button added under Edit/Setups.
- Copy & Paste functionality added to Edit/Setups window. You may now right-click a formula & select Copy then right-click in the formula area & Paste the copied formula into the same or different Setup.
- Original Setups can no longer be modified. To make changes to one of these Setups you may click the Save As button to create a duplicate Setup of the original, then modify the copy.
- New EZ Setup added. This Setup is based on multiple timeframe confirmation, looking at the same indicators for each square. It has up to six squares which are tied to the first six timeframes in the enabled profile. In general, the Setup looks for the level of bullishness in each timeframe based on an EMA, the TRIX Momentum and the MACD Histogram.
- The EZ Setup is now the default Setup used in new strategies as well as the Breakout, Reversal, & Trending strategies unless changed by the user.
11/18/09 - Pre-Release 2B
The following issues have been addressed in Pre-Release 2B:
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an error when running analysis while the Plot Voted Signal on Chart option was active.
- Fixed an error that occurred if the Period setting in the chart was different than the global chart period.
- Fixed an error in Realtime when reloading a chart with a large amount of data.
- The run analysis on forming Bars option in Realtime now correctly runs every 30 min for Daily.
- Corrected an issue in the strategy column that didn't display +1, +2, etc. when multiple strategies fired a signal.
- Fixed an problem with the Period dropdown in the chart not displaying the correct timeframes when switching Profile types.
- Fixed an issue that prevented custom group symbols from being charted.
- Fixed the Cache data & signals in memory option so it no longer errors analyzing symbols.
Enhancements:
- In Realtime & EOD when the number of bars are changed under Data Periods, the Focus List now updates to reflect the changes.
- In the Vote block's Advisor Cutoff section, Performance is now greyed out unless Optimized is selected.
- (Nirvana Club) Added "Use AI Score" option in Vote Block. When enabled this option will force the Advisor Rating to use the score from the AI block rather then the normal score.
11/09/09 - Pre-Release 2A

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an error using Strategy Wizard error with Fulcrum 2 block.
- Corrected an error with TLB systems used with large amount of data in RealTime.
- Fixed an issue with Bid/Ask prices not displaying for futures in OmniData RealTime.
- Fixed a P/L calculation & chevron issue when dragging chevron while price fills.
- Symbols with a gap of missing data no longer error when the Floor Pivot (Daily) indicator is plotted.
- Certain drawing tools & line studies will now extend correctly when they are moved forward off the chart.
- Corrected a problem with the set as default button not working on the new drawing tools.
- The Period setting in the chart no longer resets on new charts.
- Fixed a case where the Volume At Price indicator would error after changing a parameter to zero.
- Can no longer rename strategies with a semicolon in the title.
- Plotting Money Zone strategy indicators from below the vote line no longer error.
- Fixed the columns IndGroup, IndSubGrp, & IndSector so they display correctly in EOD Profiles.
- If only OmniData Funds is installed users would still get a message that OmniData was not installed. This is fixed.
- Clicking the RT data heartbeat monitor now stops the data collection & resumes when clicked again using OmniData.
- Fixed an error using custom indicator columns with the Global Focus list configuration.
- The monthly current bar now shows correctly using OmniData Realtime.
- Fixed an incorrect setting with the default RT setup.
- Money Zone tools plot normally for non-US symbols & EOD futures.
- Updated symbols database for future symbols.
- Entering Portfolio Sim Mode while having the Market Timing indicator plotted no longer errors.
- Corrected an issue with certain time zones & D.S.T. where charts would not show the correct hours.
- Fixed an issue where a strategy's setup would change to default after clicking Ok while viewing the strategy.
- Changing data period bars loaded in EOD did not allow charts to display it until OT was restarted. This is fixed.
- Updated COT database for Futures.
Enhancements:
- New drawing tools & line studies added to the chart right-click menu.
- Setups, Patterns, & Strategies disabled under the Edit menu while in Lab Mode.
- Added a second saved sort for EZ View, so to not interfere with the normal sort.
- The setups will now run when analysis is run in EOD profiles, regardless of whether the user is in EZ view or not.
- ~Stocks.otd & ~Funds.otd are no longer used for OmniData. Instead _Stocks.otd & _Funds.otd are now implemented. Updating will not remove the old files so as not to impact older versions of OT.
