Dear Ed,

I've been a faithful OmniTrader user since the early 1990's. Why my steadfast loyalty? Very simple, with OmniTrader, I make money - LOTS of money. I had been following one stock with OmniTrader with interest for quite some time. Late one trading day I got a "BUY" signal from OmniTrader. While I usually do not deal in options, I thought, what the heck, at least if I buy Options I know exactly what my downside risk is. Well I bought those Calls, and towards the end of the next trading day I sold those Calls. My profit? $10,000! That's right! TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS in one day! Does OmniTrader increase your chances of making educated buying and selling decisions? Absolutely! I wouldn't trade without it.

Hi! I just started to use OmniTrader and it is so slick it should be illegal. This is the kind of product that I was looking for when I, wisely I think, bought in to Omni 3.4. I really like the instant on line feature. I am really happy that I had 'jumped in' with you guys! Please tell Ed and all those hard working Omni employees that I really think they did a good job! I thought that I had 'broken even' with the last product, Now I just see GOLD! Thanks a..(Should I say it?)..a Million! Best of Luck in the New Year & Millennium!

You wanted some feedback? Well, here it is!

I have been using OmniTrader for about 3 months now, and I must say, I'm ABSOLUTELY HOOKED! I am so entirely pleased with the product! And the new online feature in OT 2000 is GREAT! Ed's market analysis is just about always right on the money (pun intended). I look forward anxiously to reading the index analyses each and every evening. Also, I read back over the intraday "Special Situations" commentary. I have to say that, more and more now, I find myself regretting the fact that I am unable to receive the intraday commentary from my computer at work (that "other" job I'm still forced to participate in).

Something that I "experienced" today needs to be mentioned. For the first time, I actually felt myself acting completely unemotional (or as near as possible), and although the indices were dropping like crazy, at 3:30 ET, I actually thought to myself: "looks like we're approaching Ed's target bottom - maybe I should buy and be ready for a rally on Monday". This is phenomenal! Normally, I'd be getting ready for an exaggerated down Monday (since Monday's are so often down anyway). Then, this evening, I read Ed's intraday analysis, and what do you know? He happens to mention that it may be worth considering just that!

So here is my formal request: Please come up with a way for users to receive the intraday market updates put forth by Ed himself! E-mail may not be the solution due to delivery delays, but there must be a way to get this information in a timely manner during market hours without OT installed on the system.

I bought OmniTrader real time and started using it this week and already more than paid for it. I would like to suggest a net percentage gain to be added to the focus list. What do you consider the best settings for real time tracking of Internet stocks?

I really need to thank you and your crew for a great product. I am truly amazed at my success to date. I hope it is not just beginners luck. I opened a modest account ($12,000) with E*Trade and made my very first buy on October 2, 1998. It was a loser but from there on - Wow ! It took me about a week to build a small portfolio of about 10 stocks, staying with the lower priced stocks to achieve some diversification. I let OmniTrader 3.5 pick the stocks with some personal rationale and by the end of October I was up $4,226.93 with only two losers which totaled a very reasonable $100.35.

Ed, that's better than your ads. On an annual percentage basis that sure beats a savings account. I am using Worden's data and some screening from TC2000. I purchased an IBM Aptiva, added a second monitor and took the memory to 64 Meg. I update the database every evening, make use of Auto Mode and make my trade decisions every morning before the market opens. Every thing works great, switching between my two programs and the Internet. Just having the best time of my life. Can't imagine why I spent all those years working. Looking forward to increasing my account with E*Trade and making more and bigger trades. Next time you update, I would like to get started in futures.
