This presentation will cover the steps you
will want to take to upgrade from a prior
release of OmniTrader, going back to version
4.0. Then, review the presentation entitled,
What's New in 2002 for an overview on how
to use the new features.

New

New
to Trading?
If you are new to the art of trading, please
get a copy of Market Wizards by Jack D. Schwagger
and read how the really successful traders
made their millions. I have summarized the
most important lessons from the book below,
The Keys to Profitable Trading.
- Wait
for the right set up. Use the statistics
and specialty profiles in OmniTrader to
prospect with, and also use the Trend
Line Alert tool to alert you when candidates
cross important boundaries in the chart.
- Cut
your losses and let your profits run.
Use the new Eighths Tool in OmniTrader
to establish rational stops on your trades.
- Improve
your skill. OmniTrader is the only program
that comes with a built-in trading simulator,
Game Mode, so you can practice the art
and refine your skill and confidence.

A
Letter from the CEO
Greetings!
We
are very excited about this new release
of OmniTrader for 2002.
The
opportunity to profit from trading in today's
markets is ENORMOUS. We are seeing moves
that are happening in a matter of weeks
that used to take months or even years back
in the seventies. This is why our principle
theme is "Trade the Moves." Stocks
that move 10% and more are literally everywhere.

OmniTrader
is the result of over ten years of intense development.
Each of the program's many features is centered
around the concepts of automation and trading
signal confirmation - the two ingredients which
I believe are critical for success. You need good
candidates, and you need to make sure the trades
you are placing have the best potential for success
as is possible.
In
this brief introduction, I want to share several
principles which I believe will help you on your
path to trading success..
The
Art of Trading
By
itself, OmniTrader is not going to make you successful.
It will, however, empower you to be successful
by giving you the tools you need to find and trade
the best possible candidates. You may want to
read the Testimonials on our OmniTrader site.
We know that a large percentage of our customer
base is winning with this software, and you can
too!
The
most important point our users make is, take it
slow. Learn how the software works. Play Trading
Games and practice money management on your trades
using the new Eighths Tool (see What's
New in 2002). This will help you build confidence
as you learn how the software works. Finally,
run Lab Mode sessions to gain confidence in the
power of diversification - holding multiple positions
and trading both sides of the market, Long and
Short. Soon, the "light" will go on.
Our
goal is to help you be successful in your trading.
Good luck..
Sincerely,

Ed
