Outstanding
Issues & Resolutions
The following issues are currently being worked for resolution by our development
department, with target completion dates where applicable.
|
| Issue |
Description |
Resolution or Workaround |
| Futures |
The
contract for Silver has the wrong Price Factor, which results in no signals. |
Current
fix is to change the Price Factor to 5000 not 50. To do this you will need to remove any
silver contracts you have from your focus list. Next click on the pencil, locate the
Silver (SI) contract under U.S Commodities and select Edit. You will need to change the
Price Factor here. Once you have done that. Add Silver back into your Focus list and run
the To-Do list. |
| Profiles |
Some
profiles may have systems deleted when you create new periodicity in RealTime, which cause
them to generate no signals. The error can occur in End of Day profiles if you click the
cancel button under System Testing. |
To correct
this problem you will
need to:
1) Reinstall OmniTrader (uninstalling OmniTrader is not necessary) 2) Run the OT Updater
3) You will then need to
create new RealTime profiles and import the symbols from the corrupt profile to the new
profile. Do not copy systems as you will be reproducing the problem.
4)Once you have created your
new profiles Delete the corrupt profiles.
5) The new profiles will be
ready
to go.
